Our latest blog post!

For those of us that like a bit of DIY at the weekend, one place we all probably visit is YouTube; it’s the best place for learning to build or fix things! In this blog post I want to share some cool channels we like, that you can also check out. If you want to hang a mirror, there’s something for you here; likewise, if you want to fit a kitchen then there’s also something in the list for you.

1. SEB TECH DIY

In no particular order, our first recommendation is SEB TECH DIY that has videos on building a DIY bed frame, floating bunkbed frame, as well as garden furniture.

2. Gosforth Handyman

Next up, it’s Gosforth Handyman who teaches many skills such as building a stud wall, linked below. The channel has a lot of videos, 359 at the time of writing this, and includes videos of a house renovation that may ring home to many of you.

3. BryanBuilt

Moving on, we next have BryanBuilt that has a good number of home improvement videos on a vast array of projects. I believe you will find something cool in here such as this 1 hour project to make some shelves for your home.

4. The Small Workshop Adventures

Another cool DIY channel is The Small workshop adventures and is ideal for those of you who have space to set up your own small DIY workshop. This channel is run by Mark and has videos on projects for many places around the home and garden. One I particularly like is the one for decking.

5. Charlie DIYte

The last channel today is Charlie DIYte that has the aim of teaching that DIY is possible by anybody. Some projects include fitting windows, dot and dab, as well as practical tips on how to keep moisture low in the winter. You will also find videos on how to restore older furniture.

These are just a few channels of the many found on YouTube. I hope you find something to help you within this post. Please feel free to drop a link to your own DIY channel or any other DIY channel that you think is worth a mention.
